We are close!

We have been told that our court date will be sometime in March. Well...Its March!! Once they have court in Ethiopia and we pass (we have to pass) then the adoption will be FINAL and we will be given a date to travel. Needless to say we are scattering around like frantic new parents. We will let you know when we hear about the date!

Waiting again!

Well, here we are waiting again...It is still as hard as it was before only more fun! It will be four weeks ago on Monday that we got our referral and still no sign of a court date. It seems there is no way to tell how long the wait could be. Some wait 3 weeks and some wait 8 or 9....either way we are heading in the right direction. We are moving forward planning that our baby boy will come home to us. The Ethiopia program has proven to be a smooth process so far and there has never been a problem in the history of the program with our agency :o) So we are happy and excited to be where we are. Keep your prayers going!!!!

Child Acceptance Agreement

Our Child Acceptance Agreement was approved today, so in other words we have officially accepted our referral of a baby boy!!! Now we will have to wait for a court date. Two families that received referrals in December got their court dates today. If this is a hint on how things are going it looks like we should know our date in "about" 6 weeks!! Please PRAY!!!!!

Its a boy!!

Yippi!!!! We have been referred a beautiful baby boy! He is just so sweet. He is about 6 months old. Praise God!! Please pray for him to be safe and healthy until we can be together! More info to come as we learn more!! Thanks to all of you who are praying for us!

Nothing yet....

Nothing yet....But we are very close to the 5 months that we were told that we would have to wait!! So it should be any day now!!! Keep thoes prayers going!! It would be a wonderful way to start the New Year!

Still no news

We are still waiting for our referral. We are hoping for it to come before Christmas but it could happen after the first of the year. We are just going crazy with excitement!!! Please keep the prayers for peace going!!!!!!

Waiting, waiting and still waiting

The wait is becoming more and more difficult with each passing day. I forgot how hard it could be. We have been so busy with paper work for the last 2 years that now I don't know what to do with myself!! I am not being very patient at all right now!! Say a prayer for us.....PLEASE!!
